controller.....

i buy a new midi keyboard controller ,i want to ask if the the only way that it works is with a armed midi track...i dont find ho to have a always open midi device... thanks

Reaper tracks will receive MIDI notes and CC messages only on tracks that are armed for recording. FX parameters can be associated with MIDI CC messages from your controller ("MIDI learned") and they do not need the track to be armed for recording. HTH

but at least one midi track (that opens midi device) nothing works.... solved in audio settings ,unchecked close audio device when stopped....
