Any GUIs that can do this? (.mkv)

MessageAuthor

I want a GUI that can take a mkv and cut a piece out of it. Like in vdub xvids where you can hit home and end then save out a piece of an avi without re-encoding. Is there software like this for mkv fikes?

MKVMergeGUI can do it. It's GOP-accurate: it will cut on the closest keyframe to the hh/mm/ss/ms time you select.

I was able to do this sort of. I only wanted a small piece so i set it to split the file at 3 mins then it gave me a 3 min clip of the beginning. it did what i needed but not as good as vdub on xvids. however, its probably just me not knowing how to use it. thanks
