Anyone having trouble with "The Water Horse"?

Hi Setarip_old, I'll try and answer those question. 1)I used dvdFab Platinum 4.0.6.2 2)DVD shrink has nothing to do with the problem. It is what i used to back it up after DVD fab failed 3)I can't remeber exactly the message but it was along the line of burn failed or failed to burn. no code was given. the copy portion of the process seemed to complete fine. It failed on the burn portion, ejected the blank media, and popped up a failed to burn notice. Other back up performed the same day worked just fine with dvdfab plat. 4) Region 1, I believe. This is not a big problem as dvd shrink (it uses nero to burn, I think) made a back up just fine. I thought it strange that DVD fab Plat. couldn't do it. I tried twice with the same results. Thanks

I have no answers either but dvd shrink did the trick with no special steps needed .I'll keep an eye on dvdfab and post an update on this thread if it happens again. Thanks for the input

RE: Anyone having trouble with "The Water Horse"?

This Disney (Buena Vista Home Entertainment / Touchstone) release likely contains the second iteration of "RipGuard" copy protection - and should be readily "rippable" by the most recent version of any of the following (and many others): DVD95CopyPro (Commercial) AnyDVD (Commercial) RipIt4Me (Freeware) DVDFabHD Decrypter (Freeware) Once again, I'd speculate that your DVDFab Platinum v.4.0.6.2 has become corrupted. 1) Have you successfully used it before "Waterhorse"? 2) Is it a purchased version or "something else"?

Any dvd seems to be doing the trick. Yes I have sucessfully used dvdfab both before and after water horse. It is strange that it works on some and not others. Possibly a reinstall might help. Thanks again
