\"Session must be on an audio record volume\"

I get an Error message: "Session must be on an audio record volume" when I try to open a new Protools session (Le 6.4 on OS 10.3.9). I already did what they said in the answer base: You may also need to trash the Digidesign Databases folders found at the root level of each drive volume, and the volumes folder found at: Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Digidesign > Databases > Volumes....... it didn't help. PLEASE HELP, I was supposed to finish a track tonight..... peace Rose

When in either the Mix or Edit window, at the top menu, select "Windows -> Show Workspace" When the new window opens, you'll see a chart with available drives. There are two columns labeled "A" and "V". On the row where your audio drive is (whether internal or external), make sure that the "A" column has an "R" in it. You can click on that box and it'll show you "Transfer, Playback, or Record". Make sure that "Record" or "R" is enabled. That should fix the problem.
