I want to "force" my DVD player (DVD-AUDIO not suport) to play audio ripped sound from CD without conversion to 48 kHz. Now I'm looking for any software to mux/author 44kHz audio and slideshows (for example). I know it is not standard DVD-VIDEO. My DVD-VIDEO player have 44kHz DA converters (plays CD-Audio) and I'm sure will play "non standard authored DVD". Is any software accepts 44kHz audio ? (sorry my bad english)
Explanation: I want to archive my CD's-AUDIO to DVD-R (1, 2, and more) and play it on standalone DVD player. My player can't play DVD-AUDIO. Is possible to create VCD with slideshows (or SVCD with menu maybe) but recorded on 4,7 GB DVD-R ?
Belive me, I hear the difference. Converted to 48kHz sound is not 1:1 copy of CD-audio. Now I create AVI/XviD movie contains only still picture (CD cover) and ripped WAV/44kHz sound from my CD-audio. Size of this AVI is only 10% greater than WAV file and my DVD can play it even recorded on DVD-R. I'm looking for methods closer to DVD/SVCD or VCD standard.
