I sold this car after a very lengthy restoration, but it's just too pretty to remove from my sig.

RE: Mbox 2 Problem

System Specs are: Windows XP Home Edition SP3 AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2613.4 MHz MB: BioStar TForce 550 SE North Bridge Chipset Nvidia nForce 570 South Bridge Nvidia MCP55 LPC 2 GB RAM DDR2-800 SDRAM (OCZ) 2 SATA HDs (Recording to the one that Pro Tools isn't installed on) both 7200RPM (C: Drive which Pro Tools and OS are on is 160GB, F: Drive which is where I record to is 500GB, both formatted NTFS) No additional firewire or USB devices Pro Tools LE 7.4cs7 As far as additional troubleshooting that I haven't mentioned, I have checked the output level as it drops out hitting my headphone amp, and the signal is dropped out there as well. I generally use the headphone jack on the Mbox which also cuts out at the same time. The input levels into Pro Tools never falter though, so whatever is happening is only affecting the outputs of the Mbox. Power light on the Mbox always stays green and never dims during the dropouts. I have also tried both inputs, and the issue continues regardless of input.

RE: Mbox 2 Problem

I just tested the outputs using a signal generator, bussed to an audio track that was record enabled and the output never cut out in the 5 or so minutes I ran it. I then plugged a microphone into the first input and set it next to my fan. I panned the signal generator hard left and the microphone hard right. After about 30 seconds the signal to both left and right ear were cut at the same time. None of the meters in Pro Tools wavered one bit. Every time the outputs seemed to drop out, it was both the signal generator and the microphone that cut out.

RE: Mbox 2 Problem

You didn't even post half of the information that anyone needs to help you (as was requested), nor did you follow any of the directions for posting it. Perhaps there are more instructions that you neglected?
