More types of docs in Reaper [Help] menu

It would great if the [Help] >> Documentation menu a) allowed non-PDF files, so that .CHM, .doc, .htm files etc can be accessed, b) allowed sub-folders, for organisation, c) allowed shortcuts to other folders or files, so that files do not have to be duplicated, d) had the top-level folder specified as a [Preference] so it could be located anywhere. Then I could easily access all User Guides, Operation manuals, .CHM files, Help pages (.html) wherever they are for all my VST(i)s from within Reaper. At the moment, only .pdf files directly in the Reaper Program folder are listed. ----------------------------- Issue Tracker link, for voting:

Reaper's manual is 5 times the size of Reaper download. Please do not include it in the installer. It's PDF, it's already compressed, it can't be further compressed by a great amount.

+1 And: Allow placing the documentation in special folder 'Docs' or 'Documentation' or whatever. Now it's only alongside the reaper executable.

v3.45 now sees .chm files too, in the AppData/Docs or the "Program" folder. So we're on the way. :) More votes needed, for the remaining points.

You got my vote. What I'd really like is a way to keep documentation on the screen. I really hate if I'm doing a tutorial or something and every time I click anywhere but the doc, it hides and I have to go back down to the bottom to click it back on.:(
