Protools LE 7 on Intel Mac Mini. Check this out!!!

So after acquiring a Mac Mini 1.66 Dual Core (Stock configuration) a few nights ago, I just had to try it. Windows XP on a Mac. Sure it might work..... WELL IT WORKS!!!..... after a bit of tustling...( a few little driver issues ... but I'll get to that later.) And the burning question.... Protools LE 7 on a Mac Mini... IT WORKS TOO!!!!! I can barely believe it with my own eyes!!! Just ran a test session with 32 tracks playing @ 512 buffer. Also checked in the playback engine settings and 2 Processors is available for RTAS I'm going to run some more test and post some results a bit later. But I had to share the joy of this moment!!! And no, I'm not on crack....

That's pretty cool. I saw an something about a person taking the single core version and putting the 2.2? ghz dual core chip in it. He said he was working on putting Windows XP on it. He was having a few minor issues with drivers but nothing major. BTW has anyone tried installing OSX 10.4.5 on a PC yet? I think an AMD x2 running OSX would scream. Sorry if this is a silly question and not possible.

Funny thing is WHY would a Mac user have any desire to run XP? Truly a step backward.
