Restore project after overwrite?

Hello. I have problem.I was open Reaper, automatically was loaded last project, because I haven't connect hdd with project samples, I click abort loading and start job with new project, click some times ctrl+s for save, but after that I see that in reaper is previous project name, AFTER CLICK ABORT LOADING project! How I can restore previous project?Easeus restore wizard can't find file, photorec too, no windows restore points, I am confused. Thanks for any help.

search your hard drive for *.RPP-BAK These are all your backup projects. Sort them by date to find easily find the most recent ones. If you don't find any, you need to set that up to avoid this in the future or get in the habit of manually versioning your project each time you save. Those options are in preferences>project and this will also tell you where the backups (if any) get saved.

What the Fox said... This won't help you this time but I also make a habit of working in Dropbox(.com) so there's always a recoverable version of my session.
