just joined the forum and 'reaper daw', is anyone know a free kickdrum vst for 64bit? *i hope im asking this at the right place, if not than ill move it :-)

hello and welcome! There are several threads about freeware FX on here & a bunch on free Drum Romplers. Unless you actually want JUST a kick drum, downloading the freebie version of something like EZdrummer from Toontrack would work.

Do you know you can run 32bit VSTs in 64bit Reaper, as it automatically bridges them? Or you could make your own using downloaded samples and Reaper's sampler, add something like ReaEq and some of the excellent free Klanghelm compressors and saturation plugins.
