I'm no expert but very early on I had what I believe was the same problem. It turned out, after I tried about 3 d/l's of the same project, that I didn't have a proper codec installed. Could be as simple as that.

in tmpgenc - wasn't the green visible during the encode? One thing you can try, select environment/vfapi plugin and deselect opendml and let it default to dshow. Does this avi look OK when you play it in media player? Dave
