PT drops out of record at 2:40 for some reason!

I was gone for the summer, came back, and started recording some drum grooves, and for some reason, the machine goes out of record at about 2:40. I must have changed a setting on my template. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.

Are you recording with punch in / punch out that could cause this? dave patterson / knobville

Maybe so, but I've never consciously set a punch point that I know of. I'm pretty sure I somehow accidentally created some type of setting. How can I check to see?

Check in settings limit recording time to... 2min 40 though is a wierd time, nothing highlighted on a different track off screen? Punch in points? AJ

SteveU: Is it possible you have a hard drive problem with a bad sector or fragmentation or something?
