Saved VST presets in Track FX

Hello; Can someone tell me where a saved preset is stored after it is saved within a track fx? It would be an fxp. I have many presets that I have saved, with specific names, that I can not locate in the VST inst file in my VST plugin folder. I have searched the Reaper data files that I am aware of with no result. Some of the fxp banks have 128 presets, and when I use my saved presets, they are located at the top of the preset browser, above the bank. I suppose they are stored somewhere in reaper with the instrument. I am also wanting to move them to a new computer, so I need to know how that is done as well. Thanks for any help offered; conens

Which FX and exactly how did you save the preset? If you just saved the project, then each FX's settings is saved in the Reaper project file.

RE: Saved VST presets in Track FX

The two VST's presets, that I am interested in copying to my new computer came from Cygnus and Atomic. I saved both presets with the + button, then save preset. I have looked in the "options, show Reaper resources...., presets" ( folder) where I found an ini file named as a configuration settings file. The name I used for my new presets is not listed in this presets folder. When clicking on the project file, the presets came up as they normally do, but I haven't tried to copy and open the project in my copy of Reaper on my new computer. My objective is to get these 2 presets from my performing laptop to my writing new desktop as I had set them up, as I can't recall what factory preset I used, (which I won't do again without taking memo of it). I also tried to export the fxb. bank, but the presets I saved for both VST's did not show up on my new computer. Thanks for taking time to reply.

Turned out all I had to do was move the preset file to my new computer. The data merged with the current data, and voila. Thank you for your input, I am a happy Reaper once more. Conens
