2 Synths are on the same track and neither have a pan control, but i want to have 1 left, the other right. Anyone know a trick? I know i can have them on separate tracks and pan however i like, but prefer to find some solution to keep them on the same track.

You could use 4 track channels and route one synth to L (track outputs 1 and 3) and the other to R (track outputs 2 and 4). Using dual pan you get one pan control for each synth.

Thx for the solutions guys, ReaSurround worked right out of the box and gives the most control over pan, but with more than 2 synths it can get confusing which input number belongs to which synth. I would probably prefer the JS:utility/Volume_pan after each synth, but can't get it to work as you prescribe Bradleyfilms, see if this is what u mean: The trouble is that the second JS pan mutes the second synth.. Oh, and for reference, all these fixes mentioned in this thread presupposes that the number of channels for the track is set in advance, click the track io button to set (4 in this example).

Nothing wrong with creating several tracks to use multiple VSTi's for the same part, but imo having empty tracks everywhere is how projects get messy and confusing. Much rather have them stacked on the same track, only problem is the pan for those rare synths that doesn't have it built-in. Now that i think about it, best would maybe be a little splitter or mixer in front. Would allow for more than just panning too. Will search around for some.
