How to reassign a new location in the project bay of Reaper 64bit?

Hello. I recently switched from XP to Windows 7 and I loaded a project file I was working on. All of the wave files were in the offline state, so I checked the project settings and realized that the folder path for audio files was pointing to the old destination. I use an extra built-in hard disk for storing all of my music data and it was originally assigned as my d drive, and now it is assigned as E drive. So, I reassigned the correct path, saved the project and reloaded it. This time, some wave files were properly loaded and some were still offline. Therefore, I checked the project bay's source tag and realized that all the unloaded files had the old path. I remember that I could right-click the files and assign a new location since I have done this a couple of times, but I just couldn't find the command on the menu. So, please let me know how to assign a new location using the project bay! Thank you for your help in this matter!! Rosetree

During project startup, you will see a warning about missing files, locate folders with files, then after load, save project

RE: How to reassign a new location in the project bay of Reaper 64bit?

Actually, that was the first thing that I tried to do, but the dialog for selecting missing files did not appear when I loaded the program. It usually pops up the first thing before the program is fully loaded, right?... So, what I ended up having to do was right click the missing files on project bay and use "browse for file" from replace in project menu that pops up. One other strange thing was that although I remember when I had to do something like this on a different project while I was still using XP, I could select multiple files and designate the location for replacing, but I could only select one file at a time on Reaper 64. Anyway, I was able to"resurrect" the project in question. Thank you for offering me help! Rosetree
