Reaper rewire host, tempo from slave

MessageAuthor

Hi! I am new here and have just bought Reaper. I have succesfully made Reaper work as host in rewire mode and Notion3 as slave, however I can't make Reaper read tempo changes from Notion3. I have enabled the "Allow slave to set tempo" in the fx settings but it still is not working. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Reaper v.3.66 i386 Notion3 v.3.1.276 ( ) Macbook pro 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo OS X 10.6.4 regards Ulrik

RE: Reaper rewire host, tempo from slave

I am also having problem if I use Notion as host and Reaper as slave, I can activate rewire audio channels from reaper inside notion but reaper does not respond to any playback functions, I can start and stop notion, (with notion playback controls), as usual but reaper is not moving at all, if I try to start playback from reaper nothing happens, reaper is stuck and notion does not respond. Suggestions anybody? regards / Ulrik

I'd like to add that this doesn't appear to be limited to OSX. I'm running Windows 7 64bit and the same issue applies. I've tried using the 32 and 64 bit versions of Reaper with Notion with the same results.

Would you mind posting a simple Notion project with a tempo change (sorry, I'm not too familiar with Notion), so we can check this out?

This is another example with tempo changes at once, no ritardando or accelerando. regards Ulrik

I realized that the Cockos developers are probably busy with the 4.0 release C:, but I'd like to bump this along and see if any progress has been made on this.

Will this issue be resolved in Reaper version 4?
