Can I burn a CD with DVD structure and play on DVD players?

Can I burn a CD with DVD structure and play on DVD players? 

Hello, Fellows, Perhaps my question is a bit silly, but, since I don't know I will ask you: Can I burn a CD using a CD recorder and make on it a DVD structure (using those DVD authoring softwares) in order to play on any DVD player? It would be a mini-DVD with 700Mb MPEG2. And if it were possible, I could use DVD shrink and try to shrink a little DVD in order to make it fit on 2 CDs...then, we would have CDs which could play on any DVDs with DVD format. I know it would allow only a few minutes, pehaps 20 minutes, but for videoclips, would be interesting.We could have DVD quality. Is it possible ? Thanks, Dihelson
