I have some strange graphic bug here: constant lines appears from piano roll to each midi note that is on a track. It looks like note were recorded from very start and till it actually off. To have a normal look Protools needs to restart. Anybody else have this ?

Do you have a specific scenario that this occurs under? We have not seen this or been able to reproduce it here - if you can provide us with a way to reproduce it, that would be extremely helpful. Also - have you tried trashing preferences and that your video card has the most current drivers?

RE: Midi graphic issue

Its hard to say when exactly it happens. Maybe often resizing of tracks,or some plugin`s window, i don`t know. One thing for sure - it happens after some time of working with heavy-loaded sessions (a lot of editing, RTAS synths etc), never from the beginning of work. It takes time. And only midi tracks are affected. I didnt try to trash preferences, but I will. I have Padeon9600 with 256mb and latest drivers. Thank you

Please let us know if the trashing of preferences files fixes the issue for you.

RE: Midi graphic issue

I trashed preferences and working a couple of hours without a problem, so far. Though I dont have too much midi and edits in current session. Will see. But if I will know it helps, how often should I have to trash my prefs? Thanks for your help.

Theoretically, you shouldn't have to trash prefs very often, if at all. When we see unusual or unexplained behavior in Pro Tools, we'll start with trashing prefs, as in most cases it will take care of the problem.

The problem still there. Unfirtunately, trashing preferences don`t help it.
