Thanks for your reply. It really helped. Of course there was an option for the track height... Good! I usually find these things, but in Reaper there are so many options and settings, it's overwhelming, but I like it. As, for the filesaveing on stop: I'm used to hitting a record button while playing back. This will record until I press stop or hit the record-button again (in the latter case the playback will continue without recording). In my head there is no such thing as "Pause" in a DAW. In the "tape-world" it made sense to have a "Pause" button (where the tape would still be on the tape-heads). In a DAW I'm used to having 2 kinds of "Stop", as I described. One that stops where you press stop and one that stops and then rewinds to the place you started. I will try to make a little macro then, to achieve this.
