i dont know why no one's responded to this I was realy touched by it, my own mother was destroyed by verbal & emotional cruelty i'm sorry I dont know much about rap it sounded realy good altho I have to say the singing part let it down (I'm not sure if it was you or the backing vocalist but it wasnt good)... sort that out & you have an excellent song

yeah I'm working on a new hook anyway. I'm more into it for verses not hooks(must be the hip hop in me) I'll post it when I am done. thank you for replying

ok i listened to find my way home but i dont listen to a lot of hip hop so im no expert ...i thought it was good but the hook was the weak link for me.. i think it needs a stronger melody & stronger voice to realy stand out ..i do think its good tho & worth working a bit more on tina

Like I said I am not a singer, And I would rather sing my own lyrics badly than have a good singer sing them.( I don't like it when people don't write their own stuff, I'm weird) I am working on my voice, and honestly I think I need to be more confident. Awesome. Very heartfelt tune, man. Really enjoyed this. Sounds great too! ...well, there's the chorus vocals, but you've already been there. Other than that, this really is an excellent track.

I really liked the song (Ashes). I liked the music and I enjoyed the reversed keys (or another effect?). I thought that was a nice touch. I kept waiting for the chorus too, but I really enjoyed the style of it. Maybe add a "female" voice over the last word(s) in the line. Maybe not every chorus. Overall, great song; the overall balance of music/vox was just right (imo). The vox sounded natural, raw, and in my face. I'm going to have to listen to your other songs now :)
