I have a lot of high-quality videos encoded in WMP10 Advanced Profile codec. Does this mean I will not be able to watch it future versions of Windows Media Player?
Maybe, but I'm not sure. They say "If you install Windows Media Player 10, the Windows Media Video 9 Advanced Profile codec is installed automatically" in the same page, so they seem to be talking about an already-existing codec. Perhaps you are right, and the MS pages are just confusing as always...

the existing one is incompliant and shouldnt be used the new advanced profile encoder is now only available in 64bit but soon also in normal 32bit and therefore will replace the current incompliant one
