Is the Takes list pop up working in 6.2.2 LE?

OK i read the manual. turn to page 162 please.. no talking at the back... set up a loop recorded 10 takes ( cos I 'm great,) and want auditon them in any order I feel like... the manual doesn't say TDM only but when I try to command click - no response . click again in a frustrated manner and I can rename the clip!!! Should Digi be in dentention? or has miss got it wrong? Are there any other preferences than the matching start times...?????

hi there select the selector tool, place it on the exact beginning of your takes and command-click the list should appear G.

thanks for you reply. I'm totally stumped on this one.. I have been trying this for hours!!! It seems very simple..... but how exact do you have to be??? I tried tabbing up to it. selecting it first. Tried control clicking as well as command clicking by selector tool you mean the one with F8 as short cut? Or will the 3 in 1 with "apple 7" There must be something else!!!! Is there any way to disable this feature that might have been done ? I have tried the preferences panel, matching start times etc.... just had another go. still no joy! just reread the manual. is this time to trash pref's? Or is there something obvious missing? cheers

well I just visited another friend and his TDM system and I can confirm I am not a moron!!! he had never used the pop up takes as he tends to just do music, but I was able in 10 sec's to demonstrate this feature that I'd only read about in the manual. Is it only a TDM thing? It's certainly an ugly looking pop up menu, but it works beautifully. just the ticket for adr editing and perhaps foley too. I think I'm foing to have to switch on my G3 and install PT on that and see if it's any different? Am I wasting my time and should the manual say pop up takes feature in TDm systems only?
