thanks too guys. I do use the UOP to disable next button in the last scene of a feature but I think (& I'll double check this) that if you press the next button quick enough the UOP gets ignored on some stand alone players. I believe it was a Sony player I experienced this with. Anyone else had this problem?

Sony Players do have the bad habit to disable all UOPs when they are set codefree. I don't know if you have a codefree player, but it's a possibility. Some genius must have had this truly brilliant idea... :rolleyes:

That clears that up, thanks Crazyjoe. Punishment for having a codefree player, eh? Personally I don't get it, it just makes the DVD look unprofessional.
