Finally solved the clicks and Pops thing. But. . .

This was driving me crazy. I had tons of clicks and digital spikes. It finally came down to slowing the SCSI transfer rate way down. But now, I'm getting the 'PCI bus is too slow to reliably communicate with DAE yada yada yada. and it won't record. So it looks like I've traded one problem for another. Can anyone help with a suggestion? G4 dual 800 300 mb of RAM to both PTLE and DAE Initio Miles Ultra2Wide 9Gigi SCSI drive w/ SCSI card Digi 001 Plugins, etc. Thanks in advance, EjA

That's been in the back of my mind. IDE drives are pretty affordable. (Thanks Compers) Anyone else agree? EjA
