Hi folks, I know you've been waiting a long time for Reaper specific fixes... The AC-7 Pro control surface app has now been pulled from the App Store and will soon be replaced by our new iPad app, AC-7 Core. A version for the iPhone/iPod touch will follow. (Licensing agreements meant we couldn't add the new features as an update... but it will be heavily discounted for the first couple of weeks to allow existing users to upgrade cheaply) What does this bring for Reaper users? A dedicated Reaper mode with custom button layout... all multi-button shortcuts in Klinke's MCU plugin will work too. Track names, pan positions, meters, timecode all working on Mac AND Windows (XP, Vista, and 7 - 32 and 64 bit) Redesigned interface with a cleaner layout No more need for DSMidiwifi server or loopback driver. I'll be making demo videos today and I'll post links when they're done. Sorry for the long wait, but it'll be worth it! Cheers
Hey, this is good news. Looking forward for the new version. Happy to see a reaper mode. And happy to see DSMidiwifi and loopback driver will be not needed anymore. Will it be possible to use the iPad and the iPod version at the same time for more controls ? Xavier

Yes, sorry about that... it was always meant to be an update. The discounted price (for the first couple of weeks only) will be $4.99 for the iPad version, and $2.99 for iPhone/iPod Touch. Of course your current version won't stop working, so there's no requirement to buy the new one if you don't need the new features. Cheers

I read that its out, but itunes is not saying its available here - does UK have to wait a while? I only got an ipod touch the other day and pretty keen to get this funky app, but also am a bit unaware of the protocol re OS updates! edit: just read it could be up ~6pm uk so was a bit eager..

Looks like today is the day! iOS4.2 is out... AC-7 Core should be available in an hour or two. (iPhone version will be another couple of weeks) It took me a bit by surprise, so I've been busy updating the site with instructions. saitarasoftware.com
