Hi, I watched a tutorial about using Magix Independence with Reaper and I could use it for a while, and then it quit working. In Reaper if I open Options - Preferences - VST the path "C:\Program Files\MAGIX\Independence\Independence.exe" is in the window. Then I make a new track and click FX - VSTi. The option to Independence used to be at the top of the list, but now it's not there at all. Can anyone tell me how to get it back, and/or why it would have "vanished" to begin with? Also the Independence program told me I needed to register several times and gave a countdown of days I had left, but now it stopped doing that. Could that have anything to do with it? So far I can still open the program, just not with Reaper the way it was working before. One person who was trying things with it opened Options - Preferences - VST and selected Auto-detect, and that cleared the window and that's when it quit working. Since then I've added the path back and it's there every time I open the VST plug-ins settings window, but it's still not an option from the FX button in a new track. Also when Independence is opened it shows the message "no audo driver available!". Can anyone suggest what should be done about that? Sorry...I don't understand any of this yet. Thanks for any help! David
