BEST DI FOR WARM FAT SYNTHS

Yes , it will make a diference. I dont think its worth spending cash on an expensive D/I box just for a synth. You can generally get all that fat stuff with any direct feed and deal with the eq in the mix. But... It would allow for a fatter original signal. Its nice to have a good DI box around,,so ,, go for it.

Although for that price, if you are budget conscious, you could get something that willa ctually add to the sound of your synths, and will do double duty as a DI and a preamp, like the Joemeek VC6Q.
