Can Protools autoupdate the pluginwindow?

i see.... the fastest way that i know is to use the pop up menus on the upper most left of the plug-in window... you can switch plug-ins on different tracks there as well as different insert positions.

I know this. But very often I have more than 100 tracks open so the list is long and I have to scroll a long way up and down. This I have to do in Plugwindow and in the surround Mixing window. It would be much more comfortable if those windows auto-update when you are working on other tracks. And of couse there should be a preference where you can switch the behavior on or off. Ale

This would be a great feature, and exteremly usefull. How cool would it be to have a set of plug-ins open, that are same on every channel, and have it automativally switch to the track you're working on.

i agree, I've asked for this from controllers as well. If you click the plug-in button it should open the (first) plug-in on the track(s) you have selected. Ideally there could be a option "Link Track and Plug-In selection", just like there is for Timeline and Regions.
