VST to RTAS Adapter

Advertising

MessageAuthor

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a new copy of Fxpansion's Vst to Rtas Adapter V 1.06 from a walk in retailer. I came to find out it won't work with PT7. The retailer won't accept open software returns and Fxpansion won't upgrade it since it was purchased after March 16th. So just a word of caution if you are planning to buy this program.

v1 of the VST>RTAS adapter won't work with PT7... (but it does work with previous versions) v2 works with PT7 and above Jim Roseberry

It worked fine for me. I upgraded to PT7 and had no problems. I've since upgraded to V2 of the adapter and highly recommend it for the features. Try deleting all your prefs and Digi databases on your drives.

RE: VST to RTAS Adapter

Thanks for the input and also thanks to everyone else. I don't want to sound like a whiner but I sent Fxpansion a scan of my cash register receipt, serial number, etc. and it's apparently a mute subject. I don't want to pay for an upgrade I feel entitled to. I'll just be more careful buying software in the future. Any way I love PT7. It's an incredible experience compared to my old Crown 4 track I started out with back in the 70's. Thanks Dave

That's not right -- if you bought v1 in a store very recently you should still be eligible to upgrade -- looks like somebody screwed up on this end. Mail me on angus /at/ fxpansion /dot/ com, I'll get it put right.

Thanks Angus, I just sent you an email with a PDF scan of my sales receipt, which includes purchase date and place of purchase. I also included my serial number. If you need anything else please let me know. Dave
