I accidently started a project about 20 seconds in, meaning there's 20 seconds of silence before anything starts. When I bounce, the 20 seconds of silence is included. What's the best way to move everything over, so there's no silence at the beginning. Ward
Well you could always set the bar to reflect beginning and end of the song so when you bounce you only get that part. But I would suggest moving everything to the beginning. go up to the top where the time line/bar line is. drag from where you want to start the song to the end. this should highlight all of the tracks within your drag area. Then just drag the entire song to the left. Done.
another thing you can do is just select the song (not from beginning of EDL but from where audio starts) and do a bounce. When there is a selection, bounce to disk will bounce the selected section...when nothing is selected it will bounce the whole project

What about in shuffle mode, w/all grouped, highlight 20 second of nothingness, hit delete ,everything moves to beginning. I do want to check out the way that was quoted by rail,('cause he's smart )
archtop That - in theory should work.. but you'd still have the Original Time Stamp issue.. and due to a bug in PT 5.x some automation in Shuffle mode may not move correctly. Rail
