Thanks Erik, yeah the voc a bit loud at the start, on the project file it isn't but my mastering skillz atm consists of a Vlads Limiter 6 preset on the master track which has the effect of putting gtr + voc intro vol at much nearer parity with the full band in section lol. I might try automation and/or envelopes to remedy that. ______________________ I guess I avoided using delays back at version #1 when the track lacked some clarity but that turned out to be mainly eq issues on snare, kick and vocs, so there's definitely more room to move with that now so thanks for drawing my attention to it, cheers.

I listened to #3 and agree with Sammy about the FX. That would be the biggest thing you could do to improve the vocal sound. I also heard hints of Pink Floyd as someone else mentioned. I bought every one of their records until they became a commercial success. Dark Side was my last PF album.
